An original poem:
Back To The End
by Philip Haggard Berry
how soon we forget what we forget when was it we met
did we ever meet somewhere in some overcast rain slicked street
or was that just a fantasy
I did you a wrong left now and gone the sins of the past
visit at last and we're assailed by mistakes
that our past lives will make
I lost her in there in the cold bitstreams. . .lost all my dreams and now I can't wake afloat in this state of lost loves now frost frozen and dust
And I blamed all creation
forgive and forget that's not what I'll get
lost loves last elation
all life spent
I threatened you in that mad winter's zoo on that internet island red blood turned black in soft warm white sand
and I had even been a fan
but all that was tainted broken and maimed like a carcass all butchered or crash victim sutured don't look in that mirror don't ask for that scissor this schism will crash us all down to the last to fall oh how can I be so stuck is there really no luck fuck fortune's fate we're all of us late for the final parade undone and remade all in white robes who is the one who holds an answer at all 3 times and then fall away fall away back to the dreaming land back to the bloody hand back to the back to the back to the end.
