The human "Brain" and,

the human "Mind"

are symbiotes.

They exist in a symbiotic relationship

What happens to your brain, does not happen to your mind

You can be a homeless crack addict, all of which is set in motion and sustained by the brain. But this does not make a mark on your mind, it is separate

. 

When a brain dies, the mind continues as the symbiotic relationship is ultimately and permanently split.

What happens to the mind after this? I do not know. But I do know that the mind continues to exist past death, because the mind is separate from the physical brain.

We just wont know until after we die.
